Judge not funny

Judge not funny

Regarding your daily copy of Judge on page 4 or 6, please get something else for us. Those Judge entries are not interesting, not artistic, not a good means of making a point, not funny, and they certainly are not something that we look forward to on a daily basis.

Are there not other comical, artistic, news annalist entries out there that you could use? Judge gives us nothing. Half the time they leave us in the air wondering, “What was that all about?” They are not fun, not comical, surely not artistic, and half the time they are pointless. So please cut those out and find us something that makes a point and is an interesting analysis of today’s world.

Panhandlers should play by same rules

A friend stopped me on the street the other day complaining about the beggars we see everyday at intersections around town, with a bit of common sense. He asks, “doesn’t it make sense for beggars to have to have a permit to be allowed to beg?”

He concluded that one would be charged say $100 that would have to be renewed every three months. I told him to “forget it” for that would be too simple, and the fact is, we do not have simple-minded legislators. I also told him permitting the poor buggers, “oops,” beggars, would not fit in with our present day PCR (political correct racism) system. Where did I go wrong with this?
